Legal Aid Announces Financial Eligibility Increase to Guidelines

Legal Aid Alberta announced increases to financial eligibility requirements for Albertans.

Individuals earning up to $30,000 gross income may apply for legal representation in eligible immigration and family files. Formerly, this cap was set to $24,456 gross income for individuals. Income for larger families will receive proportional increases.
