The Canadian Bar Association is hosting its annual Law Day events and they need volunteers!

First held by the CBA in 1983 to recognize the signing of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Law Day continues to educate the public, offering events that open a door into the Canadian legal system.

When and Where?

This year, Law Day events are happening in 7 cities around Alberta, on the following dates:

• April 15: St. Paul
• April 16: Calgary, Edmonton, Medicine Hat, and Slave Lake
• April 23: Lethbridge
• May 28: Fort McMurray

There are currently volunteer positions available for the following events:

• Ask-a-Lawyer
• So You Want To Be a Lawyer
• Dial-a-Lawyer
