Our presenter for this program, Rita M. Richardson, provides other lawyers and their clients with litigation and mediation support when dealing with family law matters, such as pre-marital or cohabitation agreements, separation and divorce, parenting arrangements, and child and spousal support matters. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 1990 and the Manitoba Bar in 1991. Rita obtained a Certificate in Pension Law from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2013. She is regularly called in as a subject-matter specialist in Pensions and Benefits in Collaborative Family Law matters.
Rita was also chair of LESA’s “The Winds Of Change: Developments In Pension Law” this past January. The content of Pensions in Family Law Clinic builds on that content and further explores pension law in the context of family law.
