The Alberta Law Courts have announced further expansion of the King’s Bench Family and Divorce Filing Digital Service filing to the Judicial Centres of Edmonton and Calgary effective November 29, 2023.
The service is currently only available to lawyers and legal assistants and requires first creating an account with any of the Kings Bench Filing Digital Services. The King’s Bench Family and Divorce Filing Digital Service currently cannot accommodate filings for which payment is waived or from entities that do not currently pay a fee. This includes fee waivers, Legal Aid Certificates, and filings by Alberta Justice. These applications will continue to be accepted by email.
