For lawyers newly called to the Alberta bar

The Practice Fundamentals Program is offered in collaboration with the Law Society of Alberta for lawyers newly called to the Alberta bar. This program is free for all lawyers called to the Alberta bar in 2024. For information about this program and how it can benefit your practice, visit the Law Society’s webpage here. For instructions on how to register for this program, how to access the content, and information on program benefits please scroll below.

Note: Access to this program is granted based on Alberta call date and LSA roll number (as included in your LESA.org account). You must be called to the Alberta bar in 2024 to be provided access.

Instructions

  1. Create a LESA.org account (or update your existing account with your roll number and year of call)
  2. Register (for free) for the Practice Fundamentals Program
  3. Access the Practice Fundamentals Program on the LESA Classroom
  4. Join the LinkedIn discussion group
  5. Register (for free) for upcoming webinar(s) and workshop(s), if available

Program Benefits

Benefits are available to program registrants for five years from their call date.
