The Alberta Courts announced further expansion to the FDS to include Without Notice Applications for a Justice or Applications Judge, signed orders commencing an action, and Fiats.
A proposed form of Order or Fiat must be included in all Desk Applications. Fiats must be submitted as a standalone document and should not be applied directly to the document. The document for which a Fiat is sought can be attached as a schedule or as a supporting document.
