Effective August 1, 2023, the Family and Divorce Filing Digital Service (FDS) will expand to Family Law actions in Edmonton and Calgary judicial centers and to Desk Divorce Packages in all judicial centers.
Use of FDS will be mandatory for counsel filing a Notice to Attend Family Docket Court in Edmonton and Calgary judicial centers. Also effective August 1, 2023, use of FDS will be mandatory for counsel filing Desk Divorce Packages in all judicial centers. For both filings, a grace period will be observed until August 15, 2023.
