How to Find Success in Your Articling Year and Beyond

The course is designed to provide students with the foundational skills they need for a successful legal practice. The following lessons will be outlined throughout the course:

  2. Introduction to Litigation Matters
  3. Introduction to Solicitor Matters
  4. Transitioning from Student to Lawyer

You’ll learn essential skills for building a sustaining law practice, including time, file, and client management, how to effectively managing disputes, and how to start and manage solicitor files. This course will also provide helpful tips as you transition from student to lawyer, including how to find clients, how to market your brand, how to effectively delegate, how to deliver advice and report errors, and more.

After each lesson, you will be provided with a list of recommended on-demand programs and papers to accompany the lesson materials.
