Breaking News – Estate Administration Act Grace Period

The Court of Queen’s Bench just released a Notice to the Profession: Amendments to the Surrogate Rules and Forms – Grace Period.

As this Notice to the Profession explains, the new Estate Administration Act came into effect yesterday (June 1, 2015), and until September 1, 2015 existing forms will be accepted in order to facilitate an orderly transition to the new legislation and resulting amendments to the Surrogate Rules.
