The Court has announced revisions regarding contact information and scheduling practices to Civil Practice Note 1 and Commercial Practice Note 1. Revisions to each practice note are as follows:
Civil Practice Note 1
Effective July 2, 2024, filing deadlines for judicial reviews, family appeals, and civil appeals from the Alberta Court of Justice have now been added under paragraph 21(a).
Commercial Practice Note 1
The Commercial List is amended to include additions to the list of matters scheduled under paragraph 1.
Commercial matters heard on the Calgary and Edmonton Commercial List have been updated to allow matters from either jurisdiction to be heard in the other under paragraph 30.
