This program will provide you with a toolkit to identify, unpack, and intervene in systemic racism within legal institutions and your own practice, and is applicable to anyone working within the legal profession. Moving beyond a diversity and inclusion lens, this session encourages members of the legal community to develop an anti-racist framework. Participants will be introduced to key terms and concepts, guided through a case study, and encouraged to work through a scenario to unpack multiple layers of discrimination. The session will close with a discussion of anti-racist strategies you can employ in your personal and professional life.
