Fun Things to do in Jasper | Refresher 2023

LESA’s Refresher 2023: Family Law is taking place in the beautiful mountain town of Jasper, Alberta – and is only just a few short weeks away. With the conference nearing, we thought we’d highlight some fun activities to do while in Jasper this spring.

Jasper National Park: Wildlife Tour

Wildlife tours in Jasper offer possible sightings of bears, moose, elk, big-horned sheep, and/or deer. Vehicle-based guided tours are available to provide pick-up in various locations in downtown Jasper. Tours with local guides expertly select routes based on seasonal wildlife movements.

Explore Maligne Canyon

With more than 50 metres of depth in places, Maligne Canyon is a must-see attraction in Jasper. This natural landmark can be enjoyed by hikers of all abilities. Plus, plan to stop for a coffee or hot meal at the Maligne Canyon Wilderness Kitchen.

Hiking and Biking Trails

Looking to get outside for some fresh air and scenery? The Jasper area has lots of trails, ranging in length and difficulty with options for mountain biking.

Jasper SkyTram

The Jasper SkyTram is Canada’s longest and highest guided aerial tramway in Canada. It provides a beautiful view of the local mountain ranges, blue lakes, glacial rivers, and the town of Jasper. (Note that the SkyTram is anticipated to open April 18, 2023).
