The Court of King’s Bench of Alberta has announced further expansion to the King’s Bench Family and Divorce Filing Digital Service (the “FDS”).
Calgary and Edmonton judicial centres now accept filing and claims for Family Law actions through the FDS.
Actions are expanded to include all judicial centres for general filing and claims for Family Law actions through the FDS.
Effective June 1, 2024, legal assistants and lawyers must file through the FDS general filing and claims documents. This will apply to all future Family and Divorce documents added to the FDS List of Accepted Documents.
