International Women’s Day is tomorrow (March 8) and the LESA blog is spotlighting founding partner of Swainson Miki Peskett LLP, Jill L.A. Sheward.
Jill’s love of reading and writing inspired her to pursue a career in law. In her practice, she is motivated by the opportunity to build long-term relationships with clients. For Jill, being a trusted advisor in commercial real estate ventures drives her to deliver high quality, consistent, and reliable legal services. As a junior lawyer, Jill benefitted from LESA seminars and now believes in “paying it forward” through her volunteer work. She advises newly called lawyers not be afraid to ask questions and to be wrong – it’s all a part of learning a legal practice.
Jill is one of five presenters for LESA’s upcoming program, Navigating Commercial Real Estate Transactions: Closing with Confidence. The program will provide practical takeaways to support seamless commercial real estate transactions. Topics covered include due diligence essentials, purchase and sale agreement insights, professional conduct, and more.
