The Law Society of Alberta has announced that Ryan D. Anderson KC will begin his term as President and Stacy Petriuk KC will begin her term as President-Elect of the Law Society of Alberta.
Ryan is a Partner at Huckvale LLP in Lethbridge. His practice consists of wills and estates, family law disputes and mediation, as well as agricultural and residential real estate transactions and financing. Ryan was elected Bencher with the LSA in 2018 and served on the LESA board from 2018-2021. Ryan has been actively involved with LESA, serving as both presenter and chair for various past programs.
Stacy is a partner at JSS Barristers based out of Calgary. Her practice focuses primarily on civil, corporate, and commercial litigation as well as professional negligence. Stacy is currently Chair of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the LSA and has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2021. For three years running, Stacy was named one of Benchmark Canada’s Top 100 Women in Canadian Litigation.
