LESA is Hiring: Programs Administrator

We are seeking to fill the role of Programs Administrator, based in Edmonton. This position reports to the Director of Programs. This is a full-time hybrid position with a minimum of three days a week required in the office.

The Role

The Programs Administrator is expected to:

  • Assist with program planning and delivery for all continuing legal education programs
  • Review, format, and publish program information and materials in both print and online mediums
  • Ensure the ticket sales platform is active, up-to-date, and accessible for online ticket purchase
  • Support the team with faculty-related coordination of all programs, including scheduling faculty conference calls, coordinating faculty travel and accommodation, and ensuring faculty dietary needs are met
  • Prepare and send correspondence, as needed
  • Prepare attendee and faculty name tags and tent cards and additional required program pieces, as needed
  • Fulfill customer service duties, including registration and order processing
  • Prepare, administer, and collate data from surveys, as issued
  • Respond to customer inquiries through LESA’s communication platforms (web submissions, email, phone, etc.), directing questions or escalating issues appropriately
  • Enter data into and retrieve data from LESA’s database related to program (faculty and attendee) data and information
  • Provide assistance to ensure delivery of in-person programs is to required standards by attendance at programs, as needed
  • Perform other administrative activities, as required.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in related field (e.g. business administration, office administration, legal assistant)
  • Related administrative experience or experience working in a legal or educational setting is an asset

Characteristics

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat Pro, and internal systems and software – experience with WooCommerce and WordPress an asset)
  • Strong organizational skills (including organizing competing priorities)
