It is key that estate planning lawyers work with clients in blended families to create a well thought out plan for disability or incapacity which clearly lays out the wishes of the donor couple, such that there is no confusion, and little to no room for the other family members or children to misconstrue the plan. This presentation explores strategies for drafting power of attorney and personal directive documents for blended families.
