It is important to stay organized when closing a transaction. This presentation discusses several aspects of a closing, including: (1) differences between asset purchase and share purchase transactions, (2) closing agendas, (3) common ancillary documents, (4) facilitating closing and document execution, and (5) a brief overview of closing books and the use of the legal transaction management software.
