In this presentation, Lauren Toreson highlights questions to ask when incorporating, or advising clients on how to incorporate, that may save time and money in the future. These issues range from whether to incorporate federally or provincially, how to choose a corporate name, considerations when drafting articles of incorporation, including restriction on transfer and restriction on business clauses, requirements for notice of registered address and notice of directors, and other common mistakes that are made in the process of incorporating.
