Q: Can you tell me a bit about the topics and presenters?
Our focus will be on practical tips and tricks of conveyancing. In the earlier program [Real Estate Fundamentals – 2017/2018] (with Jeff Kahane), we went through a transaction quickly from beginning to end. For this program, I want to focus on a few things that are important to know while doing a transaction and tricks for completing documents.
I have 15 years of experience in real estate (residential and commercial). Justin Kingston has 6 years of experience in real estate in a small/medium size firm with residential and commercial deals. Tami Marks has been doing real estate conveyancing for 15+ years and has experience in lending, purchase, sale, residential, commercial, builders, etc.
We will be ready to share experience, expertise, advice and ready to listen to the attendees’ concerns and questions, and their tricks too, because we can all learn from each other and make the real estate practice better that way!”
Q: What do you think attendees will find most beneficial about the program?
The tricks and tips are the key, and I’m hoping to be able to exchange information with the room and have them participate in the discussion.”
Q: What makes this program unique?
It’s unique because it will be right from the horse’s mouth: my paralegal is excellent at what she does, and we’ll be happy to share our knowledge with the crowd.”
Q: What materials will attendees receive to take back with them to the office?
There will be a lot of precedents shared with the attendees: an example of Statements of Adjustments, Power of Attorney, Mortgages, Assignment of Contract, Transfer of land, etc.”
