We rely on technology in almost every facet of life, including our workplace interactions. While a device is convenient and efficient, it can make it harder to connect and may lead to misunderstandings that cannot easily be clarified in real time. Going beyond the screen, this program provides practical tools and strategies to enhance your verbal, non-verbal, and written communications to help you excel in your law practice.

Understanding how to establish positive lawyer-client relationships, how to foster collaborative relationships with opposing counsel, and how to adapt to various circumstances and audiences are essential keys to a successful law practice. By learning the foundations of good communication, including human tendencies, biases, needs, and desires, you will take your communications from good to great.

Topics will include:

 Different communication styles

 How to address communication issues that may arise in legal practice

 How to foster client and colleague relationships

 Tips for navigating difficult conversations
