With increased pressure on courts, lawyers seeking quick resolution of disputes must consider alternative ways of resolving them. Revisit the theories of various forms of ADR and develop strategies to enhance your use of them.
Estate planning is so much more than drafting a Will. In this course, you will learn pre- and post-mortem tax planning issues for your clients, including common pitfalls and opportunities. Pre-mortem planning helps in drafting the Will with a goal to ensure that the estate will be as tax efficient as possible, while the post-mortem planning can ensure effective administration of the estate. This course will also provide some planning considerations regarding TOSI (Tax On Split Income).
